About this programme
The Boys’ Mentorship & Growth Day is a full-day programme for boys aged 16–19 who are preparing for the opportunities and responsibilities of adulthood. Growing older brings new choices, but learning to manage those choices takes practice. The programme explores how character, personal discipline, self-control and respect influence everyday behaviour, relationships and future possibilities.
Participants will learn through guided conversations, practical challenges, teamwork and personal reflection. They will examine familiar situations involving peer pressure, distractions, emotional reactions, commitments and difficult decisions. The programme also creates space to think about responsible manhood: treating others with dignity, being accountable, respecting boundaries, expressing emotions constructively and seeking help when needed. Participants will be encouraged to recognise that confidence includes listening, learning and accepting responsibility.
Career exploration, work ethic, basic financial thinking and entrepreneurial ideas will introduce possibilities for the years ahead. The purpose is to help participants ask useful questions and identify next steps, without expecting them to have their entire future decided. Before leaving, each participant will prepare a simple personal action plan identifying a habit to strengthen, a goal to pursue and a practical step towards it.
Come ready to participate, reflect and take responsibility for your next step.
