Master Chimbala speaking with open hands during a session
Keynotes · Lectures · Panels · Masterclasses

Speaking that leads to action.

Every engagement is built to do three things:

Change how an audience sees the question, give them language for the answer, and send them away with something they can act on.

WHY ORGANISATIONS INVITE MASTER CHIMBALA

The invitation is a responsibility, not a formality.

01

The message is built for your audience

Briefing comes before writing. The keynote is shaped around your theme, your audience and the outcome for which you are accountable.

02

Substance survives scrutiny

Policy, governance and public health content is researched and defensible, which matters when the press is present.

03

The programme runs on time

Briefs answered, materials supplied in advance, arrival early, and the session delivered within the minute allocation given.

04

The room leaves with something

Delegates leave the encounter with impactful content and next steps. Applause alone is insufficient.

An audience does not need to be entertained. It needs to be taken seriously, inspired towards change.

THEMES ADDRESSED

Key subjects, argued rather than performed.

Leadership & Personal Growth

Character before position. What it takes to lead yourself well enough that others can follow you honestly.

Communication & Public Speaking

How ordinary people learn to say difficult things clearly, and why clarity is the most underrated form of authority.

Governance, Human Rights & Democracy

Accountability as a daily practice rather than an election-season promise, and the citizen's part in it.

Public Health

Tobacco control, health taxes and prevention — the policy arguments that keep communities alive and productive.

Social Protection

Dignity, inclusion and the design of systems that hold people steady when life turns against them.

Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Enterprise as a discipline: resilience, judgement and the long apprenticeship behind every visible success.

Youth Development

Young people addressed as contributors with a mandate, not as a demographic to be managed.

Customer Experience & Culture

Why service failure is almost always a leadership failure, and how culture is rebuilt from the inside out.

Signature presentations

Keynotes that travel.

Each is rewritten for the room where it is delivered. Titles can be adapted to your activity and theme without losing the governing argument.

01

The Key Principles of Transformational Leadership

Executives, boards, public service leaders

Leadership summated to three demands that survive every crisis: know what you are for, tell the truth early, and stay when it is costly.

02

Declare YES To Life

Graduations, youth forums, faith gatherings

A keynote about agency is about the moment a person stops waiting for permission and begins to answer for their own direction.

03

The Future Belongs to Communicators

Universities, professionals, media teams

Why the ability to explain, persuade and listen is now the decisive professional skill, and how it is deliberately built.

04

Building Nations Through Better Governance

Government, development partners, civil society

Governance as service delivery: what accountability looks like on the ground, and what citizens can legitimately demand.

05

Health Taxes Save Lives

Policy forums, health institutions, media

The evidence behind taxation on tobacco, alcohol and sugary drinks, argued for people who have to defend it publicly.

06

Words That Build Worlds

Corporates, conferences, cultural events

On language as infrastructure, how the words leaders choose quietly decide what an organisation becomes.

What the room takes away

Applause fades. A next step survives the week.

  1. 01A clearer articulation of purpose that survives the return to the office.
  2. 02Language for a difficult conversation the audience has been avoiding.
  3. 03Two or three leadership practices small enough to begin immediately.
  4. 04A sharper grasp of the policy or professional debate they are part of.
  5. 05Renewed confidence to speak, decide and take responsibility publicly.

Organiser questions

Everything asked before an invitation.

How do I invite Master Chimbala to speak?
Write to the office with the date, city, audience, theme and the outcome you are working towards. You will receive a written response with availability and next steps.
Is every presentation customised?
Yes. A briefing precedes the writing, and the keynote is shaped around your audience and occasion. No two engagements are identical.
How far in advance should we book?
About seven weeks is most ideal, but one to three weeks is ideal for keynotes, talks, events and training. Shorter notice is considered for media and urgent policy moments.
Do you travel for engagements?
Yes. Engagements have been delivered in several countries, and invitations from any region are welcome.
Are virtual and hybrid sessions available?
Yes. Virtual and hybrid sessions are prepared and delivered with the same rigour as in-person keynotes.
What does the MC office need from us?
The programme, the audience profile, the session length, the technical arrangement and the name of the person introducing the speaker.
Can the session be recorded or streamed?
Yes, by prior arrangement. A copy of the recording is appreciated for the archive and may be referenced in the newsroom.
Where do we find biographies and photographs?
Everything an organiser or journalist needs is on the Press Kit page — biographies at three lengths, introductions, photographs, logos and brand colours.
