Why attend
Your early twenties can bring opportunity, uncertainty and growing expectations. You may be studying, seeking work, earning an income, building a business or supporting a family. You do not need to have everything figured out, but you can become more deliberate about your next steps.
This programme offers time to examine your habits, recognise your strengths and think honestly about the choices shaping your life. Through practical mentorship and conversations with other young men, you will explore responsibility, discipline, relationships, work and personal direction. Leave with a clearer priority and a manageable plan for moving forward.
This great experience is designed for you
About this programme
The Young Men’s Mentorship & Growth Day brings together men aged 20–24 for a full day of practical learning, reflection and purposeful interaction.
Early adulthood comes with different circumstances and starting points. Some young men are continuing their education, while others are seeking employment, building livelihoods, developing businesses or taking on family responsibilities. The programme creates space to consider those realities without assuming everyone should follow the same path.
Through guided conversations, group activities and practical scenarios, participants will examine the connection between personal values, daily habits and longer-term goals. Personal discipline and self-control will be explored as skills to practise through managing time, following through on commitments, responding thoughtfully and making responsible choices.
Discussions will also explore respectful relationships, boundaries, communication, emotional awareness and seeking support. Responsible manhood will be considered through integrity, accountability, care for others and constructive contributions at home, at work and in the community. Career and enterprise exploration will encourage participants to recognise their existing abilities, identify skills to develop and consider realistic opportunities. Basic financial discussions will focus on everyday decisions about earning, spending, saving and commitments.
Each participant will prepare a personal action plan identifying a priority, a practical next step and a way to review progress beyond the programme. Come ready to participate, question, reflect and take ownership of your next step.
